Nashville, Tennessee – Copy My Itinerary (4 Days)

Looking for the perfect plans to make your trip to Nashville full of excitement and unforgettable? After months (if not years) of my friend group saying we should go to Nashville, the plans finally made it out of the group chat!

I feel like Nashville had become THE place to go lately! They have so much to do that it’s hard to narrow down what’s a must see and what can wait until the next trip. So I’ve decided to share my own 4 day itinerary to use as a travel guide to help you plan your own trip ◡̈ I also included a few recommendations that I didn’t get to do on this trip, but have on my bucket list for my next trip out to Nashville!

NASHVILLE- COPY MY ITINERARY (4 DAYS)

OUR AIRBNB

I LOVED this Airbnb! The location was perfect for us. We Ubered everywhere since we didn’t rent a car and each Uber was about $7-15 and our place was even close enough to walk to Centennial Park! The place seemed either like a new building or newly renovated. It was super clean and the host was very easy to get ahold of!

My friends and I genuinely said that we think it’s the nicest Airbnb we’ve stayed at out of all the places we’ve been to for our trips together. It’s the perfect amount of space for 3-4 people, however, it can hold up to 6 people. I wish this was sponsored, but even though it’s not, I would 10/10 recommend this place! Click here to check it out! The host has a good amount of other Airbnbs if this one is booked or if you need a bigger place and while I can’t vouch for any of the other listings, if they’re similar to this one, then I’d say you can’t go wrong with them.

DAY 1

LUNCH/DINNER AT CULTURE & CO

I saw this place on TikTok and knew I wanted to go! It’s located in L&L Market which has a few other restaurants and small shops in it. We stopped in a few of the shops before our reservation- I really liked The Barefoot Cottage and Savory Spice! We also grabbed a drink at Taco Chela- the strawberry vodkarita was great!

What was originally going to be a late lunch turned into more of an early dinner thanks to flight delays due to the weather. However a late start to the trip didn’t stop us from having a lot of fun picking out the different dishes from the conveyor belts! If you’ve ever been to a revolving sushi restaurant, it’s essentially that but with cheeses, charcuterie, and desserts! Their wine list has a good amount of options without it being overwhelming and the host was really sweet and helped me figure out which wines I’d like- I ended up going with the 2022 Meinklang, Weisser Mulatschak which was an orange wine and the Los Bermejos, Rosado, Lanzarote which was a rosé. Overall it was definitely a fun experience and I absolutely would recommend it!

You can make reservations through their website on Resy, but they also take walk ins!

JOHNNY CASH MUSEUM

The Johnny Cash museum is a great spot if you’re a big Johnny Cash fan, however, it was a bit smaller than I expected. We got through the museum in about 30 minutes, but I’ll be honest and say that after a day of traveling & delays, maybe we just weren’t in the mood to read all the little captions, so that may be why it felt like such a quick trip at the museum. There’s definitely some cool displays though!

Tickets are available online here

QUICK DRINK AT MARGARITAVILLE

Right around the corner from the Johnny Cash Museum there’s a Margaritaville that we stopped at to grab a quick drink. I can’t believe that I had never been to a Margaritaville before, but the vibes were good and it was the perfect pregame! They had live music and it was super nice to just sit down and sip on my blueberry pomegranate margarita after a long day of traveling and before having to get ready for a night on Broadway. I was also quite excited when they asked if we wanted to hear Justin Bieber or a country artist and they actually played Baby when I said we want JB! They said that they kind of asked as a joke because they assumed we’d want country, but they were so good!

BROADWAY

We tried to go to Jason Aldean’s bar first, but the line was too long so we ended up at Barstool! We got there at 11:30 or so on a Friday and there wasn’t a line to get in, but it was definitely busy! The plan was definitely to bar hop a little bit, but we loved the vibe at Barstool so much that we ended up staying there the entire night until they closed (also, FYI a lot of bars in Nashville don’t close to 3 AM, which I definitely wasn’t used to because most of the bars around where I’m from close at 2 AM). We couldn’t believe that 3 and a half hours flew by so fast though!

Barstool was super fun, it was definitely a club vibe on the first story and the second story was still fun, but a little bit more relaxed. They also have a balcony with tables for an even more chill scene if that’s more your style.

DAY 2

PEDAL PARTY WITH SPROCKET ROCKET

There’s no better way to start off the day than on a party bike! I mean how can you beat an hour and a half riding through Broadway while blasting Shania Twain and T Pain while drinking a high noon? There were tons of other party bikes at the same time, so it’s fun interacting with the other people on their rides as well as all the people walking around on Broadway that seem to get excited each time one of the bikes passes them despite the fact that we were probably the 5th one to pass them!

At the time we went, there was an option to BYOB which we did, however, it looks like they no longer have the option to BYOB as of earlier this month. They have a decent selection of drinks to pre-order through them though! Just note that the ride does not end where you started because they drop you off around Broadway, so I would say try not to over-order if you’re wanting to go out to Broadway right after because if you don’t finish your drinks on the ride, you’ll either have to throw the rest away or chug them. Also, if you have less than 6 people in your group, then you’ll get paired with another group. There were only 3 of us, so we got paired up with a bachelorette party and it was so fun with them!

The host played great songs and had some fun games which kept the energy up throughout the entire ride! This was my first time being on a party bike, but definitely not my last! If you’re looking into booking with Sprocket Rocket specifically, here’s link, but if this one gets booked, I would absolutely look into other companies because this was such a fun daytime activity!

LUNCH AT HAMPTON SOCIAL

I saw this place a few years ago on my For You Page on TikTok and it’s been on my list of places to go ever since! Specifically I wanted to get the giant seashell drink! The seashell was great for pictures and tasted great! I think we got the Longhouse Reserve, but I’m not 100% sure. Also, looking back at the menu I’m seeing that a large seashell of their espresso martini was an option, so next time I’m 10/10 doing that. The shell was reasonably priced- it was enough for 3 of us and the prices of the shells are a little less than 3x of the normal serving. I also got the shrimp tacos which were amazing and probably one of my favorite dishes this trip!

This place is definitely a hot spot for bachelorettes and birthdays- you’ll see the occasional guitar that’s lined with shots and sparklers heading to people’s tables- if you’re in a big group I’d say you should definitely consider getting it for your table! It looked so fun and would make for some great Instagram/Snapchat stories- my friends and I thought about it for a second but we just had 3 people and it comes with 10 shots.

There’s three different stories to this restaurant- we chose to eat on the rooftop! The rooftop doesn’t offer the full menu, but there’s a DJ here, indoor and outdoor seating, and it’s decorated super pretty! The first and second level rooms appear more laid back, but still look stunning based on the pictures online.

Definitely a must for any girls trip! I will say that it does fill up, so I would make reservations on Open Table in advance!

BELLE MEAD MANSION AND WINERY TOUR

The Belle Meade Mansion tour is packed with a ton of history if you’re interested. I’m not gonna lie, my friends and I didn’t realize this was a historical site and definitely thought we’d be touring a nice little vineyard or something (this is what we get for seeing the word “winery” and immediately book tickets).

The guided tour showed the historic mansion followed by a wine tasting in the winery.  While it caught us off guard that we went to a historic site and not a glam mansion, I feel that the tour guide did a really good job at giving us some insight into the time period and the people that resided there in a respectful manner. The wine at the end was good, however, unless you’re super into history, I feel like this isn’t a must-see in Nashville especially if you’re short on time.

BROADWAY

Our second night on Broadway we planned to get there a little bit earlier to try and get into Jason Aldean’s bar, however, at 10:30 PM on a Saturday, the line was still pretty long. I will say that Broadway may have been a little more packed since it was spring break and because there was an Olivia Rodrigo concert going on that day. So maybe on a different weekend 10:30 would be early enough to not have to wait in a long line

We opted to go to Luke Bryan’s bar instead- Luke’s 32 Bridge, which still had a line, but it moved pretty quickly! It was a fun spot, and with each level up the vibe became less of a country bar and more of a nightclub. And I’d say that with the exception of Barstool, all of the bars we went to that had multiple stories kind of had the same set up where the lowest level is more chill and the higher up you go the more club-y and less country it becomes.

We were determined to visit more bars this night, so we headed off to The Stage, which was a lot more relaxed compared to Luke Bryan’s bar. The balcony wasn’t too crowded and had a pretty view of Broadway which was perfect for pictures! The drinks were good and they had a live band upstairs too.

Earlier when we were taking a quick break during the party bike ride, we stopped in Whiskey River where they thought I was a bride because of my white bow and told me I could ride the mechanical bull for free! I’m definitely not engaged, but let’s keep that as our little secret 😉 We had ran out of time during our break, so we went back there at night for the sole purpose of riding the bull. It was such a fun time and made for a great story, so just for that I’m gonna have to rate this place 11/10. But seriously though, the staff was sweet and the band that they had playing was really good- we stayed and just listened to them for a little bit. I would consider this more of a bar than a club, but it was a good time still!

Barstool was so fun the first night we decided to go another night! We got there a little after midnight and there was a line. However, I’m not sure if it was busier because of the time or because there was an Olivia Rodrigo concert that night. We ended up staying till they closed again and it was another good night there- the music and vibes were immaculate and honestly we considered going a third night, but ultimately decided we had to try out other bars. But if you’re going to Nashville, I would absolutely recommend Barstool!

DAY 3

BRUNCH AT WHITE LIMOZEEN

This is every girly girl’s dream brunch place!! The fun cocktails + the pink-ed out decor are definitely a must see for any girl’s trip! I got the anti hero cocktail and the le grande pere- both were amazing!! I didn’t realize that Dolly Parton didn’t actually own this restaurant nor have any official ties to the restaurant, but the Dolly theme was super cute and they were very committed to it! The rooftop patio with the giant pink Dolly head and pink umbrellas looks like a scene from the Barbie movie and the inside where we ate felt like a mix of a tea party and a retro Barbie house.

Two things I will note are that the pool is open seasonally and you need a separate reservation for it. Also, reservations for the restaurant and pool open 14 days in advance on their website, however, the patio is walk in only.

BELMONT MANSION

Similar to the Belle Meade Mansion, there is a ton of history here. We did a self guided tour and personally I enjoyed the Belmont mansion’s architecture and design over Belle Meade’s- so if you’re interested but only have time for one, I’d opt for the Belmont Mansion. You can get tickets online here. Belmont University is also right there and it’s small, but definitely a nice campus if you have 10 minutes or so to walk through campus.

12 SOUTH

12 South is one of the shopping areas in Nashville- definitely a lot of cute little shops and even some brick and mortars for some brands that I didn’t realize had physical stores such as Stoney Clover and LoveShackFancy! Serendipity was a great store to grab some souvenirs at and my friends liked the coffee at Frothy Monkey. Also, there’s the “I Believe In Nashville” mural over here that I feel like everyone takes a picture with when they’re in town. They had some cute restaurants there too and I wish we weren’t still full from brunch or had another day here because the ones we passed by looked so good!

CENTENNIAL PARK

Centennial park was walking distance from our Airbnb and it was such a beautiful day when we went! In a way it reminded me a little bit of central park, but friendlier/wholesome if that makes sense? There were a lot of families and groups of friends throwing footballs that made it feel very welcoming and just a happy place to spend a Saturday afternoon. The Parthenon is there too and we initially were planning on going, however, we honestly had enough tours for this trip and wanted to just relax a little bit, so we decided this would be something to save for our next trip up here.

PRINCE’S HOT CHICKEN

Of course while in Nashville you also have to try some of Nashville’s hot chicken! We went to a food hall on Broadway and tried out Prince’s Hot Chicken. I definitely thought I was being a baby by choosing medium, but if I’m being honest I should’ve gone with mild because even though I think of myself as someone who can take a little bit of heat, I could only eat about half my tray because it was so spicy…like tears were forming in my eyes spicy haha, I can’t even imagine what the spiciest tastes like. I even chugged the rest of my cocktail from Agave Maria while my friend was getting us water, which was definitely a weird chaser for chicken, but I was desperate! I’d still go back though- I would just go with the mild instead!

BROADWAY

For a Sunday, I’d say that Broadway was still really busy (again, not sure if it’s always like this or because we went during spring break)! However, our last night on Broadway was the night we finally made it into Jason Aldean’s Kitchen & Rooftop Bar! We went around 7:30 PM and didn’t have to wait at all to get in, but there were still a good amount of people there. We went upstairs and the band was incredible- they even took my request to play a One Direction song! It was definitely worth the 3-day effort to get in!

We bar hopped from Aldean’s to Tootsies, Friends in Low Places, AJ’s Good Time Bar, and then finally ended up at Miranda Lambert’s Casa Rosa!  The live music at each place was great and I’m so glad that we got to explore a lot more places this last night! The plan was originally to go home by 10 PM since it was a Sunday and we had to fly out the next day. However, at around 10 PM at Casa Rosa, they switched from a live band to a DJ and we ended up staying until closer to 1 AM because it was so much fun! My favorite two places from this night were the upstairs at Jason Aldean’s and Miranda Lambert’s bars and I felt like they definitely had the 20’s to early 30’s crowd!

DAY 4

BREAKFAST AT WANNA SPOON CEREAL BAR

I’ve seen this place on Tiktok and knew I wanted to go here. The decorations are also really cute and there’s some fun photo ops both inside and outside! And even though paying about $7 for a bowl of cereal definitely seems overpriced, I always say that it’s the experience! I felt how I used to feel when I would make “potions” in the kitchen by throwing a bunch of things together when I was choosing out the different cereals and toppings to put in my bowl. And if I’m being honest- my mix of Fruity Pebbles, Oreo O’s, Cookie Crisps, and Cinnamon Toast Crunch topped with oat milk and Lucky Charms marshmallows was elite!!
